UNDERSTANDING CONTEMPORARY ART

For teachers, students, artists and all those taking interest.

Content:
• Vision as a choice

• Times and their quality

• Composition as an emotion
• Finding and building what’s yours

Testimonials:

“I have never heard so logical and clear explanation. Starting to get what contemporary art is about” (The participant of the New Director’s Conference, Jurmala, 2016)

SEEING COMPOSITION

A practical view of the visual language for designers, craftsmen, photographers, arts students and anybody who has to speak the visual language every once in a while.
So far, text has been the default means of communication everyone is supposed to master, yet in the modern times there’s no denying the emerging need to employ purely visual means as well, in terms of both production and understanding. In light of this, we are going to discuss the core principles of the visual language and what makes quality design.
There’ll be some practice as well, in which I will be assisted by Anna Aizsilniece, a well known books and fashion designer (www.recycled.lv).

Testimonials:
"You opened a new pathway for us- how to look at arts, watch films, see ourselves and the world."

“Infectious enthusiasm.”

“My most inspiring teacher.”

(The students of Riga Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Latvia, 2005.)

HIGH SENSITIVITY
